Positive Environmental Impact
Minimising our travel footprint
At Formby Forensics, we are proud to operate as a primarily virtual business. Our investment in remote technology significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with travel.
Off-grid office nestled in nature
Our commitment to sustainability is embodied by our low-energy, off-grid office tucked into the Somerset countryside. Reclaimed from intensive arable farming and surrounded by ancient woodlands, our tranquil setting not only conserves energy but also provides a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including red kites, otters, newts, and even glow worms.
This eco-friendly haven reflects our dedication to preserving the natural environment.
Tree planting project
We undertook an ambitious tree-planting initiative. By planting thousands of native trees and hedgerows and establishing a traditional Somerset orchard, we have enriched the local ecosystem.
Our orchard features a collection of unique, old apple varieties and other fruit trees, further showcasing our commitment to biodiversity.
Supporting The Better Business Act
We’re proud to support the Better Business Act, a movement to create a legal framework that compels companies to consider the interests of all stakeholders – society, the environment, and shareholders alike. To ensure that businesses of all sizes don’t just focus on profit but also take responsibility for their impact on people and the planet.
